2013-12-07 - Big day with Wheelman

Another day with bunch of Wheelman game-time. Did one story mission and then had to do some trickery to get the 3 boss defeating achievements.

The trick was that you need to make 3 separate save games and then in every save-game kill one of the fraction bosses (as killing one makes other 2 missions to disappear from the map, and auto-save makes it impossible to "go back" unless you save game to 3 different slots).

The missions were relatively hard, but did get them all done in few attempts.

2013-12-06 - Even More Wheel Man

Another day, when played a bit Wheelman and got 1 achievement in it. Just did some side missions, and this Airjack achievement unlocked itself. +25G.

Also played a little Assassins Creed III 3 online, gained 2 online levels, but got no achievements.

2013-12-05 - More Wheel Man

Another day, when playing only one game, Wheelman. Decided to follow one forum post with description and location of all cinematic stunt jumps. Took some time and little head scratching with some locations, but after few hour - all 50 stunt jumps discovered and another 75G added to my score.

2013-12-04 - The Wheel Man

Today played mostly Wheelman, and attempted to get closer to 100% in Lego Star Wars II with no success at all.

In Wheelman got whopping 4 achievements. One for finishing one contract side mission. 2 for completing 2 story missions and one after I had driven in all of the districts in Barcelona. Total gain - 75G.

2013-12-03 - Lego is driving me nuts

Lego Star Wars II was definitely driving me nuts today. Tried to do the Falcon Flight achievement - one of the remaining "finish level without dying" levels. After attempt 10 or so I gave up ... for now.

Last two "don't die" achievements I got in total with 3 attempts - so I succeeded on one level during my first attempt. I died only once in second level before finishing it also successfully. This time I progressed to middle of the level and died almost at the same time almost in similar way. Not fun at all.

Well, you know how it goes, when stuck in a game, leave it for a while and do something else. So I worked my way little closer to 100% game completion. And then went off to play Wheelman.

Long story short - no achievements in Lego today.

2013-12-02 - Lego and Wheelman... Again

Another day with those 2 games. Got achievements in both games.

Cloud Cover in Lego Star Wars TCS was another very easy one - after consulting all knowing Internet found out that I do not have to finish level with playing all way till level ends wearing helmet, it is enough to "save and exit" while wearing helmet. So ... super easy achievement actually.

Collecting all the mini-kits just took time and revisiting levels.

2013-12-01 - New month starts with achievements in 3 games

Today got achievements in 3 games. +135G

I got 2 hard ones in Lego Star Wars II. Those are the ones where you have to fly around and you cannot use a "ghost" character to make it super-easy for you. You actually have to do it without getting killed. Hard stuff, took multiple tries.

Then I went and got 2 relatively easy ones in Lego Star Wars TCS. To get the "Arcade master" I went the easy route - fired up the arcade battle with 2 controllers, and used controller 2 to jump off the ledge 100 times - meaning the controller 1 got 100 "kills" and the achievement unlocked. "Cash in" was also easy when you know, in what mission and where to do it. :)

In the end of day played Wheelman and got 4 achievements during normal game progression - no grinding involved.

2013-11-30 - Last day of November

This November was sent out in style. Played 4 games, got achievements in 3 of them, 125G in total.

Lego Star Wars TCS - as the end is near, the G-s from game are growing. Got 3 achievements total worth 100G

The Disco achievement come unexpectedly when I was re-playing missions and hunting for the unclaimed mini-kits and red bricks. The last Disco was in some hidden room, where I was not able to go during normal gameplay. Harmless achievement was another one that was easy to do with 2 controllers and selecting R2D2 for one player and Droidikas for second player. Last but not least, the 60G Red Brick Master - this is quite easy just a time consuming one.

Also managed to see a bug in the game, at one point of gaming it claimed I have found 11 mini-kits out of possible 10 in one level. :) :) :)

In end of the day played a game that I have not touched for couple of months - AC3

Played couple of rounds in multiplayer and got one achievement in it. Did not have to much to get it - just had to be in the winning team. :)

2013-11-29 - 70G in Lego Star Wars TCS

Today I was busy studying, running errands and at the evening visiting a comedy club - never the less, managed to do some gaming in-between and get 2 achievements in Lego Star Wars TCS.

You can probably already guess how I got the easy 10G achievement (just check my earlier TCS posts).

The "Collector" achievement was bit more tricky. Basically what the problem was ... I had all characters unlocked and bought besides one. Last character was hidden and unknown to me. The missing one was unlocked by following: go to the extras room (where you can build 6 golden gates from the bricks you unlock / buy during the game). That has room has a doorway labelled "Trailers". Enter and watch the Indiana Jones trailer, when done Indy he becomes available to buy at the character shop. After buying Indiana Jones - I got the 60G achievement.

2013-11-28 - Lego and Wheelman

Another day with 2 games played where I got achievements in both games.

Both wheelman achievements came during normal gameplay - Finish Him was awarded during in a story mission. The taxi achievement I got after doing my first taxi driver side mission.

3 achievements in TCS - 2 were easy - "kill A with B" and the third one was when I finished the Episode III story mode. Now all the episodes are done, all needed to do is revisit the levels, and get all the mini-kits and power bricks and work my way closer and closer to the 100% completion.

2013-11-27 - 7 achievements in a day

Even after a busy day and spending about 8 hours in 4 different buses, managed to do some gaming in the evening.

Got 3 achievements on Lego Star Wars TCS and 4 in a "new" game: Wheelman. I know I know, Wheelman is not "new" game as it was released already on March 2009. It was new to me, as I have not played it till now. :)

Lego achievements were easy - two of them were the "use X to kill Y" that are very easy with 2 controllers if you have the characters unlocked and bought. The "wear every hat" came just during regular gameplay - no grinding was needed.

The first three Wheelman achievements came easily during normal gameplay. Just follow the scripted path to get yourself familiar with the game and you get the achievements. The 4th one I got when I completed my very first side-mission.

2013-11-26 - 3 achievements in 3 minutes

Today I had busy day, long training session, lots of phone calls, went out for shopping and library.

In the end of the day found 5 minutes to get 3 super easy achievements done... literally it took me one minute each to get them. All it took was to use 2 controllers, select needed characters for both controllers, launch a level, use controller 1 to kill character controlled by the idle controller 2 and BANG - there is the achievement.

Expect similar easy achievements tomorrow evening, as I have even more busy day ahead of me. I need to wake up around 5.30 to take 6.30 local bus to the capital. Then take another bus to travel another big city 3 hours away. After having there one important meeting I have few hours for playing tourist and then I am heading back the same route.

2013-11-25 - 100G in 2 Lego Star Wars games

Today I played 2 Lego Star Wars games and got achievements in both. :)

The "Undefeated Endor" was quite easy to do with a "ghost" character - it cannot be killed and enemies leave you alone. But the Speeder Showdown - it needed concentration. Even when using ghost, you are vulnerable when riding the speeder and can be killed by turrets or just by hitting the walls/trees by accident.

In Lego Star Wars TCS got some relatively easy achievements.

For "Shoot first" I just needed to fire up second controller, select right characters for both players, launch a random episode, have one specific character kill another, and voila - there it was.

Little similar deal with "Fire in the hole" - just had to use Bobba Fett and throw a thermal detonator into a swarm of storm-troopers. :)

Gopher was also very easy to get ... if you have all the stud multiplayers equipped. :)

2013-11-24 - Another day with 40G in Lego Star Wars TCS

Another day has passed, when I only played Lego Star Wars TCS. And again I got 2 achievements worth 40G. Both achievements are "stupid" grinding achievements. For the "Lightsaber master" I just had to hit my "player 2" 20 times with un-blockable combo attacks. What this means is that you have to use a Jedi character and do a special sword hit on someone (press "X" 3 times in a row). Easy when you know what to do exactly... but pointless.

"The Dodger" is similar - you have to dodge incoming blaster charges by jumping out of its way when it is just about to hit you. Grinding what it is - just wait and jump wait and jump till it popped.

Those achievements do not make me proud, but they are needed if you want to get to 100% game completion! :)

Rest of the achievements are soon to follow! BTW - I managed to find, unlock and buy all stud multiplayers today. I am earning sweet amount of studs even without trying ... that is what 2x + 4x + 6x + 8x + 10x gives you: 3840 x multiplayer

2013-11-23 - 40G in Lego Star Wars TCS

Slow day achievement wise - played several hours, but only got 2 achievements to show.

Most work was done to get closer to 100% completion - replaying levels, getting mini-kits and red bricks, things like that.

As I have played Lego games before, I know it is quite important to get the stud multiplayers as early as possible. Better spend money in early stages on multiplayers bricks so you earn more studs faster as you go along. I already own 2x multiplayer, and have unlocked 2x, 6x and 10x. I am only little cash short to be able to afford the 4x multiplayer. When I have the 2 equipped at the same time, it will mean I will earn 8x studs when playing.

2013-11-22 - 100G in Lego Star Wars TCS

Spent some time today evening on the TCS and got 5 achievements worth total 100G in the game. Happy days!

2013-11-21 - Short day

Another busy day in real life, spent short time on console.

Played few campaign missions on Iron Brigade and maybe half hour on Ascend: Hand of Kul - but got no achievements in either of them.

2013-11-20 - 20% done in Lego Star Wars TCS

Got some gaming done today after getting home from work.

Played only one game - Lego Star Wars TCS. Got 2 achievements. I was expecting the The Empire Strikes Back (Finish Episode V in story mode) one to pop, but the Yee Haw (Ride all mounts types & ride-ons) was a surprise to me - just popped out on its own.
