2013-10-17 - Borderlands 2 GOTY has landed

Yes yess yesss! BL2 GOTY (Game of the year) edition is finally here.

Did not have much time to play it, but managed to get 2 achievements in the Tiny Tina DLC:

Oddly enough you don't see the GOTY even existing when you check out Borderlands2.com site, but if you are in Europe, you can get it from some retailers ... Game.co.uk for example.

Did my usual daily moves in AlphaJax and managed to kill the final boss in Ascend: Hand of Kul. It was not that hard actually - probably because I had just ascended and had relatively good gear for my low level character. And also because I tend to rely more on spells than on my sword (I have invested a lot of souls in upgrading the spells I have).

2013-10-16 - Few new games

Downloaded today Halo 3, as it is the free game of the second half of October, but not sure when I will play it - my plan for upcoming games includes the latest DLC-s of Borderlands 2 GOTY - I will be spending some time again in that game, over the upcoming weekend. :)

And, when we are in subject of downloading games - Battlestations Pacific has very good deal now in Xbox - regular price is 24.99 Euro, but now I got it for 4.99 (gold members only deal). It would be just stuped not to buy it at that price, as the used copies cost around 20 euro on ebay. There is similar discount is for Battlestations Midway, but that game I already have as a DVD version.

2013-10-15 - GTA IV - long time no see

While everyone is rambling about GTA V - I decided to revisit its older brother - GTA IV, in what I had many achievements I still have not achieved.

To my big surprise, last achievement in GTA IV was from May 2010!!!

Anyway... I managed to do 3 achievements worth 150 points, and plan to do some more in few upcoming days.

I also played a bit of Ascend: Hand of Kul, but I got no achievements on it...

I am quite close to revealing all the Lores (only 2 unread) so I expect to get at least the "Highlands Scholar" achievement tomorrow or day after.

2013-10-14 - Quite slow day again

Another slow day.

Played only 2 games: AlphaJax on Windows 8 and Ascend: Hand of Kul on Xbox 360.

No achievements in AlphaJax but managed to get one in Ascend: Hand of Kul

2013-10-13 - fun weekend and achievements from the future

This weekend was fun in real life and not so much in the Xbox gaming world.

We went out with friends and stayed in one nice cosy countryside pub till 3AM.

So to give quick feedback on the gaming - all I played over weekend was Jetpack Joyride, Ascend: Hand of Kul and AlphaJax.

Got no achievements in Ascend: Hand of Kul, but managed to get one achievement in AlphaJax on Saturday and one in Jetpack Joyride today. :)

Oddly enough, when taking the screenshot, I see I have achievement from the future ... The "last played" of the game says 13th but I got the achievement is from 14th October. How come? :)
