2013-12-26 - 100% in LEGO Star Wars TCS

Finally, mastered the Star Wars TCS game. 100% completion and 1000/1000 GS!

The 2 achievements popped in a row after collecting the last gold brick. I kind of hated the grinding that was needed - doing the missions again and finding all the blue mini-kits. But at least it is now done and I have another 100% completed game in my profile. :)

2013-12-21 - TMNT 100%

Like I predicted yesterday, I managed to complete the TMNT game today.

Did 2 last levels and the badly labelled achievement. It is not really your first coin, as you collect coins in every level. It is the first GOLD coin, what appear on levels, when you re-play them in challenge mode. Anyway, now the score is 1000/1000 - time to move on to some other game...

2013-12-15 - Lego Indiana Jones - 100%

Whoop, there it is... Lego Indiana Jones completed... after 4.5 years of being shelved...

We go for a ride was easy, all I needed to do is find a location where you can swing back and forward and then keep pressing B for a while ... at the same time I was watching some TV.

Disarming achievement was bit more tricky, as you can only disarm enemies from specific distance. Do it from too far, and you don't reach enemy, when too close, it will not disarm them. The last one was THE BIG headache. It was "glitched" for me as for many other people according to forums. I managed to kill multiple times 6 troopers at same time in "Motorcycle Escape" but the achievement did not appear. Same problem in "Escape the mines" - blowing up 5+ enemies did not pop the achievement. Luckily when trying it in the level with bunch of spiders - "Pankot secrets" - there I eventually got it.

2013-11-16 - Two Lego games and one new free-for-gold-members game

Today I finished Lego Batman - where I had one forgotten achievement to do. Took me about 1 hour of gaming to get the last achievement and the 100% completion. Amazing to see that previous achievement was obtained almost exactly 5 years ago.

Second Lego game I spent some time on was LEGO Star Wars: TCS where I got 4 achievements worth 80G.

Last but not least - this months (November 2013) second free game for Xbox Live Gold members - Iron Brigade, where I also got 4 achievements on my first day. As it is an arcade game, they were only worth 25G.

2013-11-16 - Completed LEGO Batman

As I have been playing a lot of the LEGO Star Wars 2 game lately on Xbox I checked out my other Lego games and progress in the games. I noticed that in Lego Batman I had one achievement, that I had not got. No worries, pop the game in the console, and maybe after 1 hour of gaming got the last achievement and the 100% completion. Woo hoo! :)

Amazing to see that previous achievement was obtained almost exactly 5 years ago.

2013-11-07 - Finished the World of Keflings

Spent some time today to finish the World of Keflings game. I know the screenshot shows I still have 250GS to obtain and 9 achievements to get, but those are the extra DLC ones and I am not counting it as I dont own them. :)

2013-10-30 - Borderlands 2 - 100%

Now it is done. Finished Borderlands 2 today and got the last 3 achievements. So it took me exactly 3 months to get from first achievement to the last. :)

2013-10-22 - Wordament IOS - 100%

Today I reached 100% completion on IOS version of Wordament.

Last one was bit boring, as it was the grinding achievement - Sore fingers (Completed 100 rounds).

 

For some reason none of the achievements on this IOS game have achievement obtaining dates listed in the site. Same goes with last played date what is incorrect.

Great little Windows 8 game with few easy to obtain achievements. Basically had to change once how the game looks, and Complete one hard Puzzle. :)

Microsoft Solitaire

Not many achievements on this game - only 3 and worth total 40 points. But as I have Win 8.1 on my multiboot laptop, I went for it!

NB. This game was free to download from Microsoft Store, so I cannot complain, or can I?

Microsoft Minesweeper

This Minesweeper is little bit different what is the "good old Minesweeper" that did not change its looks through Win 98, 2000, XP. Still playable tho. :)

This game has 4 achievements, all were relatively easy, the most challenging was definitely the "Good Memory" (Completed a minefield for the first time without using any flags) - that took some proper planning and double checking before marking a square "safe to remove".

The game is free, so those 50G did cost me nothing but little time on my Windows 8 machine. :)

Minecraft

Minecraft is one of my favourite games - I keep going back to it from time to time. I usually play it on casual mode as I don't like battling with the creepers and spiders - I like when it is nice and quiet and you can build whatever you want... BIG or small. :)
